| Dang Shen (Codonopsis Radix) | 24g |
| Gui Zhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) | 18g |
| Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix) | 48g |
| Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis Radix) | 18g |
| E Jiao (Asini Corii Colla) [dissolve in strained decoction] | 12g |
| Huo Ma Ren (Cannabis Semen) [crushed] | 18g |
| Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma recens) * | 18g |
| Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus) * | 10 to 20 pieces |
* Sheng Jiang is not included and should be added by the practitioner or patient before cooking.
