Chai Hu (Bupleuri Radix) | 24g |
Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix) | 18g |
Zhi Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma preparatum) | 16g |
Dang Shen (Codonopsis Radix) | 36g |
Zhi Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix preparata) | 18g |
Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma recens) * | 18g |
Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus) * | 12 pieces |
* Sheng Jiang and Da Zao are not included and should be added by the practitioner or patient before cooking.
Suggested dose: 1 bag over 2-4 days. The above dosage is doubled from the original source.

Note: The original dosage of Chai Hu (Bupleuri Radix) in Xiao Chai Hu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction) from the Shang Han Lun is a half a jin. There is debate on how much this really is, but many believe it to be around 24g a day. Therefore the 48g option may be closer to the original.
