Dang Gui (Angelicae sinensis Radix) | 18g |
Bai Shao (Paeoniae Radix alba) | 18g |
Gui Zhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) | 18g |
Xi Xin (Asari Herba) (granular) * | 2.4g * |
Zhi Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix preparata) | 12g |
Mu Tong (Akebiae Caulis) | 12g |
Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus) | 8-10 pieces |
Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma recens) ** | 36g |
Wu Zhu Yu (Evodiae Fructus) | 18g |
* Currently it is illegal to use bulk Xi Xin in the United States for internal use. Therefore we use a certified aristolic acid free granular version. It is a 5:1 extract and the dosage is adjusted accordingly. It should be dissolved into the strained decoction.
** Sheng Jiang needs to be added by the patient or practitioner. One quarter slice is usually ~ 3 grams.
