* Sheng Jiang needs to be added by the patient or practitioner. One quarter slice is usually ~ 3 grams.
Note: Originally in the Golden Cabinet the dosage for Mai Men Dong and Ban Xia is in sheng, which is a volume measure. For this formula the conversion is 1 sheng = 24g.
